But they've only been five times this year where they've taken -- a top ten now rushing offense and so. You have a good running offense when they get things going on inside it would -- -- McFadden. So I'm -- start rushing up the middle. They fall behind fourteen nothing. And then they start depress San Diego and they have to go one dimensional with their offense they didn't run the ball you're passing it. And you know Phillip had a little bit of an off day early. They were able to try to at least rally but it -- fell apart I mean basically they had the wrong a bad game and really what kind of a bad matchup at the wrong time. They they are really they are to peaceful exit -- yeah they are every year coach eventually get to a point really buy into them. The way it -- because there was enough easy games for them and then Carolina cooperated by being a bad team. Is that in -- to have a better chance to win the division. Then the New Orleans Saints because the way the schedule -- the New Orleans Saints had the cup games on the road where the falcons had a tough games at home. So then you get the addition of having the NFC west which of course you know everybody blows through that division. And so now you're gonna have the tiebreaker or at least you have the advantage as far as home field in the wild card and so. By rolling the waiting out capping Matt Ryan had a magical season very much like Drew Brees a year ago. They're gonna end up being the team to beat you go to the Super Bowl because they're gonna end up thirteen and three at the worst fourteen and two at the -- and have home field which they'll make some Bible critically blocked one game with Matt Ryan has starting quarterback in the -- ago. That's the one thing of people attended not look at if you get a chance to have NFC west teams to go against. You're using it for additional -- that maybe nobody else was going to get. So you take advantage of that and then -- they have the advantage work just like last year they were able to take on teams that can't rookie quarterbacks or replacement quarterback the differences. They're not getting interceptions that they're setting up and getting points out up. This year what's happening is that it's closer games they're throwing more interceptions but still. This is just almost at the end of what's been an easy part of -- scheduled for them he gets tougher now because they have the played Baltimore another week. And then come back and play at a planet in both teams are on the road. Outside plays you know giving him some plays you know where he can run to the outside just used his quickness to get the -- In his hand but obviously that's not happen much -- and hamstring injury probably played into what the last few weeks but. But the -- was popular when they drafted and how he was going to fit into a buffalo offense -- know whether it's cold. In December and November and sometimes October and you know he's got about the next type of back in the you know kind of -- at the city. Do you think his draft status will push them. To give him every opportunity to become to unseat Frank Jackson again because I I would predicted that would happen. Next summer again and I mean he he want the job come out of camp this year he was a starter against Miami and it it got jumped after one week but. I I would think that they would work hard to justify the ninth overall selection. Yup but I think that you know it. He's not gonna be the type of back it's gonna be the one back at me he asked to have them back with him so I think that with Fred Jackson and his salary in just his demeanor and everything like that. The two of them are gonna be together for a long period of time and if they would take the position it's like okay we're -- Spiller were planned Fred Jackson. Well and then they cut or trade for -- cannot be in the states and we've seen a mistake too many times. Still this is a -- where there's only about twelve or thirteen backs that are getting sixteen carries a game or more. And you know seagate not that type of back you know Fred is able to at least and what better but you have to have the two. This now the combination where they have to have the two would not just want it if they decide to go with walk and then they're making a mistake. Bills and browns Sunday blacked out third. Ralph Wilson Stadium game this year be blacked out the Chicago game may went well and another. But it doesn't help the team was going to black I was going to lifted because the Toronto arrangement. And we still could have another with with New England so it's been a rough year for that they're saying the weather -- Sunday he might be really raunchy. So couple things to know about this game -- where his Cleveland that that growth curve here. They're making progress because you know they've had they've been playing games very much like buffalo until last week. Where their competitive. They've been close in some ways they've lost some close games. But you know here and keep making some progress now but it could be enough progress for him to keep the job you'll they've been able to fight group. Many many problems at quarterback and -- each one of their quarterbacks. Has had a high ankle sprain. And now they're back to Jake DelHomme. -- they have very little speed totally on this team and it's probably the least athletic team and football slower linebackers wallet wide receiver. But it's just smart it's a well coached team they played -- make a lot of mistakes we don't get a lot of holding penalties. -- this solid they're just not great. -- -- does end up being shown the door there what do you think the odds would be on Mike Holmgren being able to lower Jon Gruden. I think recent. Really good I didn't think so a couple of weeks ago. I know John this week is that you know meeting with some friends to talk about the ideas like go to -- a lot of coach who wanna stay broadcasting remember financially. I think he'd like to make Tampa Bay pay every dollar that they only think about six million dollars next here from Tampa Bay no matter what he does so he's. He's still might take one more year out he saw a story that has -- more of the -- said. That he thinks they have gonna end up either Cleveland or San Francisco so I think is a reasonably good chance that he put his name in the hat. That guy Cleveland's gonna outpace San Francisco he can be in Cleveland. Where do you think Jim Harbaugh will be. I'm right now all. I tend to think that he could still stay in Stanford because what you worry about with him. Is that that you have to lock up. -- NFL deal that first week in January or so and I don't know of any team is ready to lock up -- kind of a commitment. To a college coach is going to be very very good with -- CPA extension. So if it passes on the NFL. That means he's not gonna be it's Stanford or Michigan there's a lot of rumblings that Rich Rodriguez could lose his job after the ball game. And if that's the case and they don't lock him up at Stanford the -- Stanford came back and said that. He did they think he's close to a deal well I don't see any deal yet and I think Harbaugh would prefer to go to Michigan first and then maybe NFL team's second. Yet at the heart Harbaugh is being tied at Stanford but he. It matters a lot -- I I think John you tell me if I'm wrong about this he leaves. Look he's like almost sure to declare for the draft at these days it's a little body and. -- question because -- these days and I think a lot very well could -- but you know Oliver luck continues to tell everybody he knows that his son is staying. But again the dynamic a majority is still the coach has the state to so it may be one of those things lawyer like indicated Jake Locker. And the university of Washington and they work out some kind of an arrangement were like okay. He had to let you know early that a mistake but I'd still say that you know Harbaugh still in play for some of these coaching jobs particularly Michigan opens up that's going to be hard for him. Not to go back to Michigan as a former quarterback there you know you would be the perfect coach for them pretty run the perfect Michigan type of offense. What's the latest on that the future of the labor negotiations John is the draft. Going to happen either way. Yet -- it's gonna happen one way or another they may have to readjust that date but yup that's still buy contracts still allowed for one more year. Even -- they just certified the union yelled they've at least on the agreement said that there will be a draft in 2011 now the unfortunate thing is. Nobody can assign until there's anything out of a collective bargaining agreement. But I'm still optimistic that something's gonna get done before march you know. They've made some progress on talking about the eighteen game schedule -- now they need an arrangement where they're not gonna have a collusion to they've bought some time there. No there really started to have some serious. Bought an iPod they would start getting serious by December 15 they can maybe get something done by February 15 so I still think that.
