Be having this benefit coming up on Saturday the 21 of August. Hi yes. Thank Rhonda is going to be two years old and rate around two months of age. He was diagnosed with a rare brain conditions. -- called heavy metal and happily. And since then he has he had. Quite often severe. Epileptic seizure that he does not you know and needs to be hospitalized for them. And so. This -- mingling and for. Probably since two months. And so for the last twenty months or so you guys have been have been dealing with this and if you don't mind data -- -- what is that I admit it's just going to be heartbreaking and every -- has got kids and probably even if you don't have kids -- -- Kabila to watch your own son. Our daughter go through something like this some. Dated a what is life like around the house. But you know it's extremely difficult. Eight and have special therapy is coming in a few times a week. Just to help him he has some developmental delays. And that just the unpredictability. Of his condition is it was very difficult. We have no idea from these days. You know what could happen. Most is our wonderful. Even as a normal boy. Again with some about a month hopefully it but we never know when procedures going to head and when they head. They have hired in and we need to comment on one hand and we are. In the hospital. For several days disputed the severity he does not come out of his epileptic seizures. The very very bad in and he needs to be debated in the anticipated. Each and every time. That's just the estimates are breaking for his it was two months away from the union to Euro write to the -- life so lomb is that it currently is is you're trying to treat this. -- their medication that's available knew what sorts of things are being done currently and and alternately watched the what's the move -- what is the benefit what are we trying to raise money for ultimately. Well even has spent. Several medications in them. From very high doses than and he doesn't -- medications -- days to to keep them. Somewhat under control. And he doesn't have seizures every day but look at that when they do happen now where. You know it's usually every few months but. Just -- what happens six weeks after the other bad ones so medication to control and he he is these that the child they have. You know if we do now. Do brain surgery. You know hit hit quality of the -- can. You know not not be so great so. What we're doing is. Having brain surgery on August 23 at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. You know and there's an 89%. Chance that -- -- -- become seizure free. After about a year and only on one medication which would be. Wonderful to be able they have you know if he has the theater would be more. Controlled and lack of the year. And also only seven and kind of give us some background and and the cost effective what this is gonna you know cost you and your family to you to do this year. Well. You know brain surgery is is it's definitely not an expensive. You know it can happen anywhere between. Hundreds of 200000 dollars. And right now we we do you have a benefit that's going. August 21. To raise money for his brain surgery. We do have a wonderful insurance company who is. You definitely working along with. Dispute is the astronomical cost and after care. He's just happy -- 32 years old trying to raise a family you know is -- out there and our -- and he's retired bitten he's got you know things don't have but Leahy said at least he still -- -- right -- still driver carried him breaking gas it up. But he it's something you really wanna start your life at any time losing a party about which you know as we add another friend of mine who passively cup -- ago or so. It's just folks please -- you kids out here taxing. -- -- you know the phone whatever the incident is I don't know what the total incidents and -- seems it prevails -- -- pay attention when you're driving. And do the right thing because you know there's people out there that can be danger killed. But -- doing well he's an old school guy you know as one animal rough tough guys so he's taken it with the green is so at least on the outside. You know but it's still he losses his foot seven and he's had them for sixty some years ago. Right right in this is another one of these guys it's not dumb you know -- there's there's the accidents that happened when the you've got reckless people. To doing something they shouldn't be doing on a bike. And then there's the accidents that happened which are all too common when you've got to -- -- been writing for say forty years like your buddy Joe here. And is doing everything the right way not speed and you know -- in the -- and safe as he can eat. And somebody just runs or red or makes a left when they shouldn't be making a left when the motorcycle got the right away and bingo exactly. -- -- home it's almost like any means you know everything was having which is used -- down roads so. You know again -- hit by young he's a young driver. Media I think sixteen years of age. And I'm sure that their personal be thinking about that but the bottom line -- you know you gotta think before that and and that's the big important thing after. So for us a bikers out there again. Like -- says. Be invisible. You know let let people know that you know you know that your visible up and nobody sees yet. So. Just keep aware of what's going on around you because people around here it definitely not doing that. Now because I was I was thinking it really in my only tracking this is is really the newspaper. We've talked about their coverage accurate inaccurate. These incidents and how their profile but dumb it seemed like it kind of come down after the first couple of months of the writing season. And but you know here here we've got your body just a couple of weeks ago. Game -- it is it's it's a damn shame and that's right I am in on the old -- -- grizzled veteran I'm Marmol. 45 out of all of -- -- a few years by. Act like they can't see that's the that's the that's the when I think about when I'm writing that nobody sees me so act that way. And you know. He's doing better course now is to go to the long drag physical therapy you know let that stuff. But he's an old. He's an old -- -- school biker guy so -- he'll take it the greatest sultan and -- his life will still move forward and he'll still be out there with -- us in other aspect.
