If you let callers -- up and down I mean that it can -- -- -- with their own suggestions of what's up and went down just an -- we haven't done that no we haven't but I don't think -- other rule is that we've done it you know Joseph fields and on Twitter does it with -- tax cuts and tweets about people suggesting their -- up and down and ideas for the bill so you wanna you know contribute -- that 80305588552. By fifty -- I'm myself and him more the bigger picture mode today. Basically looking back -- It's it's it's it's like. It's like they've been this is the difference season that you can't even think you don't even realize that five -- was in the same year. Think it happened in a different it was mr. -- this it was September -- October which. Is are the -- different. Any different or -- -- same all because all that fun and frivolity of five into his long dissipated. Humanist no big picture that's Ryan -- -- feels like fifty. Yeah like it's like ups and downs and all the stuff Matthew. Tweeted in with -- up -- Williams looked good young guys getting chances placing mistakes now learn for next year. You know and and now -- at one of those plays where. -- taken negative slant on this. I will tell you that Deron Williams needs to make that interception in the end I don't care he's a rookie. You're there team he's daring coverage this was not he lost homes in the end zone against the jets he cut in front of whoever the heck they Washington may -- was that got their -- to. In position to make a red zone interception gets through hands on it and can't hold on. So instead of having stopped their drive your ball at the -- seventeen to ten football game that drive continues they get a field goal. It's now twenty to ten. -- -- -- Maybe -- doesn't do all well at ten points we got away from the run it would have still been a one possession game and if you wanna really go play with fun with numbers. If they don't get that field goal. It's. Twenty to seventeen on that last bills drive from their fifteen with a minute -- go in no time -- all if there was get in -- -- we'll arrange it to what the 3533. Ish for Dave -- to try game tying the Google if Williams holds on it which he did. He has been good you know he's played well -- you -- you you wanna see a guy make that play it to you too excited about it because. The bills need those turnovers which they were getting them in. Bushels of early in the season it's why they're winning and now they've evaporated and so they were in desperate need of a stop there. They're desperate need of just stops period. SO to just waste one right there is records that a no in the Paper today. Eighteen -- eighteen -- -- in the first seven games in the last 44. Takeaways. Reined in on Twitter up Kelvin Sheppard. Played arguing arguably his best game and here they actually OK. -- inside linebacker. If you pair shepherd Nick Barnett had a really good -- he's been solid yeah. I I really and even yesterday he made he got the sack but there's a plate and he made. It was a pass to Chris Johnson. In the left flat. And Barnett sought. -- recognized it sprint it over there I mean EEA identified the play read it properly. And Chris Johnson not a slow guy. And had the ability to get over there and stop it for I don't know 23 hour game whatever was I was really impressed by his ability to get from the middle of the field over towards the sideline. And tackle Chris Johnson to finish off that play I like. Nick Barnett and -- coming on you could be you can have a good combo inside. To the -- thing. I don't think Tim -- I don't know I keep on this but to me folks. It isn't as easy thing -- that's why they lose no they're not. Not all the time at times they're cheap. They can be cheap when it comes to hiring head coaches and not. Paying off fired head coaches they can be cheap when it comes to assistant coaches may be scouting staff personnel even GM. But they spend money. On football players they make wrong decisions on guys they'll spend money now they won't be a big player in free agency. Make. Moves in three -- is not like they don't it's out there at the bottom of the salary cap every year -- Com. They spent a ton of money on Derrick Dockery and it blew up their face they spent a ton of money and Langston Walker. And it blew open their faith they'll spend money on certain players. And they turn out to be the wrong guys who isn't. They never spend money they're cheap. They'd spend Terrell Owens and make the wrong decisions now. Terrell Owens for no good reason extending Lee Evans. Who a lot of people were high -- have a problem with that. But they made -- -- they made him depending on how you broke on the contract or is he was one of the highest paid wide receivers in the NFL right and yes they were excited they kind of went all in on him. But. Obviously they didn't evaluate their situation -- their personnel to know that we're gonna be seeking a ton of money into a guy we're back and be able to get much out of you know whether it was their fault for not being able to maximize him in terms of scheme. Or whether he just wasn't as good as they thought he was so 11 way or the other they didn't evaluate him as an asset properly. We spend money and Shawne Merriman a pun but what five million whatever the heck it was -- it was a gamble that -- were for for now has blown up in their face Chris Kelsey I mean we're -- resigning some guys but then letting others ago you know week. And a good example that I spend money on Kelsey but you might look at and say yep but they spent on the wrong guy right. They didn't spend it on Jabari -- they didn't spend it long list yes we -- we probably shouldn't go through it you know it's been done before -- well well worn territory. But I think that that goes to the point they spent hundreds Patrick. Yeah -- that mean the good idea when who knows but they they identified their quarterback and say here here's 59 million dollars. And hopefully we'll spend an -- Jackson Stevie Johnson they gave a lot of money to different running backs yeah you know did them first round money deceit -- -- when they've had already. Given Marshawn Lynch most of his first round money early in his contract then with Fred Jackson on the roster. So. Yes it's. I do not totally buy into Ralph is cheap it's just become a slogan almost. But for me when if I'm going to buy into it we talked about it during the first hour. You wanna talk about when is when are you ready to buy into the bills as not being disabled bills anymore. You know is it when they get some lucky breaks to get the five and two and look pretty good and it on all cylinders and they're healthy they they haven't any significant injuries you had in. They're getting all the the turnovers. And they're not. Given the ball away. All right that's all well and good you you can't count on that as an organizational. Foundation you can't count on turnovers. And a absurd number of turnovers. Or plus minus -- you can't you can't count. Which you can count on is in the NFL is players getting hurt -- so that's when I say. When I will buy into the bills is when I see them change philosophically. As a team that will bring in quality depth players through free agency were proven guys or keep their guys and Garnett and keep their guys. Yeah and -- a great example. But also just spending money on. Back ups. Not just totally not just relying completely on waivers. On the waiver wire street free agents or late round draft pick us to fill out your roster right you need veteran players yes they do cost a lot of money because yet different minimums. They you have to hit -- -- guy's been in the league for five years which he's been in the league for however many years that the minimum salary rises and rises. But you need those guys John -- he's a guy that they cut a couple of years ago John -- -- might be the best special teams player in the NFL right now. He's been great for the lines -- Jim Leonard had a good career post bills with the ravens in the gesture as he was one of the first guys Rex Ryan wanted to bring to the jets with a when he became jets head coach he identified Jim Leonard. As one of his core players. And the bills decided they wanted Donte Whitner instead. So they draft Donte Whitner in the first round. You could think of all the different guys that could have gotten in the first round in just left Jim wondered at safety but that's not the direction anyway. Let's grab some calls -- 3055888552. Factor to the extra point show here on WGR. To grab the Buffalo News here I'm filling in for Joseph B Larry thanks for holding on your on WG are right ahead. There are dialect how much -- acute back and the children and days from -- -- pitch well on fire that's a lot and I've been excited about it. Everywhere quicker game yesterday and driver all -- just. Like he. We're sure that they're cheap or better most of the problems lie. I evaluated talent and they check seagate start now looks like it that pick actually -- actually go I pray they don't. But what concerned me it amounts to three when they picked up well true Alex -- and but the umbrella alive I'd look at the exit clinic got. -- after those two. Stereo or you're out there quietly to shell out our our -- dot it was -- it great aerial Alltel work. Spoke about happy was -- -- -- systolic mainly in his. Your docket are virtually bought lull in the reading that they are covered shoot the lack of our inability to stop the rush heir and hair brush. So obviously you're -- I thought in the first round this year. Optical after Stuckey that the -- maybe even go back in order street have to pick up another star linebacker. I'm even thinking wide receiver c'mon at the -- doubt about air your point. Well here's the problem with the way this season has played out there are now so many things back in play for what they do first. I would tend to be with you I've flip flopped all over this last few weeks in my own mind wide receiver what to do. A lot of it does depend first up on the resigning Stevie Johnson if they don't she got nothing at wide receiver. Just a whole bunch. Complimentary bit parts. Two I'm assuming they're signing Steve even if they itself and they should still get -- get another receiver I would tend to go. With the outside linebacker play making. I didn't see Denver much Tim may be you have I saw them just a couple of times and the times they did see them. Von Miller looked really gut. And let's say in the bills have taken bond while couldn't he went first. But second second and you know I'm right first of the two point yet. But -- a guy eight. Outside who can disrupt things can get to the quarterback. Can help out can plug things up your run defense forced some fumbles justice blood. Human being and outside linebacker considers it like shepherd I like Barnett. You need outside linebackers you can make place moats. Baton -- this team is using defense of linemen to play outside linebackers. Are holding Spencer johnsons and outside linebacker. They need big time help -- outside linebacker. I think you could take a look at their draft needs from 2010. And just use the same script over again -- tweak it just a little bit when it comes the offensive line because my thought going into this past draft was tackle or outside linebacker. Or quarterback depending you know Cam Newton was there I was all in on Cam Newton I thought that the music at the -- to pick. Or Andrew Luck was coming out you know the bills -- eagle quarterback -- That was -- if one of those two guys. And beyond that left tackle outside linebacker that's where it's that mean that the perimeter -- that's -- left tackles are so important is because outside linebackers pork in the NFL at today's game. So. There are offensive line has developed. They're playing pretty well. Despite injuries. And they have guys in there that are getting experience. And I think that they're getting better to the point that I don't see offensive line as critical. Need any more beyond that I think their needs are exactly the same as last year. I think that if there is a quarterback that they can get the should look at it. If there's an outside linebacker they should look at it if there's any. The defensive -- you know there's a nose tackle even you really have Daria sin and and -- Williams yeah so why -- and for all cornerback whatever the best player is there and -- best player available situation again which is I don't think we would've said that. In week seven week eight we we have been talking about okay we're looking for the missing piece. They're too many missing pieces. You'd be down to corners -- freeagent probably not coming back Mckelvin as I think played himself off the roster. So you can be down to and and looked straight points I liked but he's gotten beat painful at times this season they need help at quarterback make that argument. You're on hold. Hang on -- spot 8030550. To join us 888550. To 515 is the extra point show. When we get back. I wanna talk a take a moment because I know -- until noon but we haven't done yet anecdotally wanna do -- and since you're here to talk a little bit about Alan Wilson who passed away over the weekend. And have been so many great. Tribute to him by your colleagues at the new Sully wrote a fantastic article mark on his well. Peter King. As a note about Alan and his Monday morning quarterbacks so much stuff on Twitter so and the bills did a great job honoring Allen and his memory yesterday so we'll talk about that and of course with few on the bills 8030550. X two point -- WG. Ten years ago he's been -- up a couple times the last three or four weeks we can't be enough Kazaa a little bit that. Most catches in ten years already a valuable stock he's gonna -- he's been a really really. Nice development this year because the bills have. Been wanting it tight end for so long maybe that's we were talking in the last segment about other needs last year at. Heading into the draft are probably going to be pretty similar to their needs heading into the 2012 draft. But that's that is one position you can probably say day. They at least at some talent you can always get better tight end but it'll nobody needs that there's got to make plays yet at least you know I don't think they have to worry about that position for. As a guy who can catch the football which is attractive settings are really attractive target compared to where the tight ends have been on this team. Post. 8030550. Joseph this guy out today not feeling well got no voice basically so we wish Joseph the best hope he gets better soon Tim Graham is here from the buffalo new measure calls coming up. As we talked about the bills of -- are they any better. They are basically. Twelve games now. Into the 2011 season that looked so promising. Well over a month ago. Basically right back to square one table bills 8030550 will talk about -- Wilson moment quick two quick things wanna get up on from hockey. -- been giving the update you're just joining us Jordan Tutu according to -- LeBron will have a phone hearing today. With -- National Hockey League about the incident with Ryan Miller significant that it's phone because the deal is on if the league was thinking of and -- five games or longer a long suspension. That has to be an in person -- face to face now they could still go less than five when they're faced faced but. If it's a long suspension that has to be face to face telephone hearing would suggest then that it's under five games they suspend him at all. And Bob McKenzie from TSA and tweeting the owners are meeting in California today which owners -- governors rather. And Bob McKenzie tweeting that there's a reasonable chance by the end of the day NHL realignment will be done. The latest plan floating around as Florida and Tampa. Coming into the division with buffalo that the northeast teams. And then -- Florida and Tampa into the division. Not Detroit not Columbus they would stay in essentially what BA midwest division there's been some talk maybe Pittsburgh might actually move. In with buffalo Boston Montreal Ottawa -- and now it's flawed at Tampa. I know John -- the Buffalo News B writer for the sabres. Would love to have Florida and happened there the other writers that people go down there you know work who are who don't play about it. But that is kind of a rough trip you know that's a three hour flight time the sabres. Have been very fortunate you know on their division you can pretty much get -- anywhere. In the Eastern Conference with the exception of Tampa and Florida and Atlanta before that you can get an inside an -- it's a fifty hour a fifty minute flight. And to add those trips to go back and forth to Florida. You know lights it's nice to go down and get some sun and everything but you know those those are not particularly easy flights. But and and don't get tip as good now on the stand coast of Florida is one of the great stories of the season right now the way they've -- that roster. And GM built the Blackhawks into a cup team. But still especially they go in tweak the division the playoff format could be here inside your own division for the first two rounds I do not want Pittsburgh and or Detroit. In this division has yet to go through them every year just to get to a conference final. I'd much rather have Florida in Tampa in the division Pittsburgh Detroit. Well again the latest plan has Detroit with Columbus Saint Louis Minnesota Winnipeg -- like -- geographically. They're trying to basically geographically -- the national hockey to it so it makes cents. And I think that's what they're they're gonna end up doing Detroit belongs in the Eastern Conference I think. A dozen solid animal I think -- in the west because and what they're gonna put -- with the member -- to change in the scheduled to be less travel out west for them. Will be in the division with Saint Louis Chicago Dallas would move into there Winnipeg goes into there Minnesota there's figure you're here in. The central time zone a good chunk much more than you are now -- Detroit. There it's like. When the Cincinnati Reds used to be the NL west. And grabbed and the cubs are in the NL east or when they rereleased -- one point they gear and Arizona Cardinals were in an abrasion in the west I'm sorry Brad and railway as a last -- the -- guess geographically that didn't really yeah. Let's go to JP thanks for early on in -- on there's Portia here on WGR. They get money boys -- you -- Axl thank you I just a couple points slash observations here maybe in six. I'm gonna actually -- debt having. More superior. Secondary. Giving him more time to get to the quarterback. Where you know here. May be Green you know some people could say but I just think we really try that form. And then also -- in my second porn stars Alex bills players having success. When we look at obviously may -- and -- that we can also look at Mario agents. Difference maker legally in -- difference maker recently and even last year and I think you're. Marshawn Lynch. Carried out you know -- suggest that either. The turn over organization. You know the big guys -- -- vote is banned you know cause it and order. We just don't ought to handle players properly because. We have a lot and also want to -- one lecture because we get players out there on different teams that are difference makers for their teens. I and lastly on the Matthew Barnaby follies. I hate is actually make a case for marriage. -- -- The main thing though the -- maven Tim is this if if all the sacks were basically. Because the quarterback was back there for like seven seconds okay -- beat pierce cleanly right. Yes I mean some of the -- she's doing what we thought he could do uses speed to get outside. Get around a tackle get to the quarterback it's not all because the quarterback. Is holding holding Revis has got -- I covered Cromartie got -- I covered with Kyle Wilson I think as a nickel back and he's making place to get as much as it pains me to say that he's making plays he's earning some of these -- He's beating offensive -- yeah it's. Yeah it's not it's you know we're not looking at Lawrence Taylor here but it's. You know it's something and it's sad it's a skill set that the bills could probably use but found a way. Not to be able to figure out. 8030550. To join us an extra point you're 888552 traffic wanted to take a couple minutes. We talked a bit about this on the pregame show yesterday. Alan Wilson from the Buffalo News. Passed away over the weekend at the age of 49 after long battle with leukemia I'm not gonna be long -- because you who in the heck of a lot better than I did your on the staff. And just ought to be appropriate. They've been so many great tributes to him. I guess that Sully. And he did the same -- when Jim Kelly passed away he just. The column was magnificent if you never knew the guy you'd read that column and think you -- that you -- he was the best -- bragging so much about them. I know you guys put the benefit together a few weeks ago and obviously this is a very difficult time for everybody over the Buffalo News without passing. It is and it's a bit of double blow because his wife is the sports editor at the Buffalo News and she's been there for a long time and in many ways maybe an even closer to -- that I am with now because it's when I covered the sabres of course bill. -- covered the bills. So our paths would cross here in the air you know maybe idea in Orchard Park on occasion editor we have appears some time we get together and have a dinner. It we'd we'd. Crossed as like coworkers do. But his wife I would see on a regular basis and we would you know after deadline put the Paper. Grab some wings her have a conversation or whatever -- see her on more of a regular basis. You know my son. Mice at every night of his life my son has slapped with a Teddy bears that the Wilson's gave him when he was born. And hopefully I don't get too emotional here. You know one thing that. And I'm always gonna remember about -- happens to be his last words to -- And it bothers me that they were his that they were his last words to mean. Because it's it happened you know couple weeks ago and he was unable to speak again and wasn't conscience -- for the past. Past couple weeks ago. I'd go visit him in the hospital it was me. Talking to him usually. Reciting what was going on the NBA lockout door. You know the coaching moves that were being made turner -- be in -- go you know he's got going there and -- talk about your pocket huge boxing fans that didn't hear and in any of the stories about him and he was such as sports sportsman sports fan. That I I wonder if football might have been its third favorite sport and never asked him about that but you know he's huge basketball huge boxing. But anyway his last words to me came after the benefit and it was an emotional time at the benefit he got up and he spoke you were there Howard is great. He looked good I mean he. You both look bad and good he's such a big guy and he lost weight so he looked good because he lost the weight but he also didn't look right because he lost so much weight. But he said a lot of things from the heart it was emotional I didn't get a chance to spend much time with him that night because I was running the auction. But in my mind I thought. And have -- -- time to deal with now -- help them out tonight for the for the auction and that we'll talk you know some other time. And he found out the next morning. That his brother who was it is perfect match donor for his bone marrow transplant Allen had leukemia for those who might know. That's. The match you he had a condition also so -- the transplant was off the detected this previously unknown. Condition with his brother that transplant was off the next morning when he -- that right after the benefit so. Al goes from the high of the benefit -- up pouring of love and support. For him to this devastating news the next day that his transplant that he thought was gonna happen wasn't gonna happen. And still know what must have been very terrifying time for him a couple of days later he sent me an email. And he told me that he loved me and. In that that's the last thing that he said to him but. The one thing that I'm I'm happy about is my last words and -- I love -- too. And so that's why I put a thing on FaceBook last night I had I stayed away from social media all throughout the weekend when it. Analysts -- island house the death. But one thing -- wanted to post last night and it's something that I think is important. You know they say that. That you you gain a certain wisdom when your close to death. And he knew that he was facing death he thought he could be it I'm sure but he knew the reality of it -- his wife. Is that you. Find a certain wisdom that you may not express earlier you embrace this wisdom and I think that he felt it was important at that time to tell people around him that he loved them. And I'm glad that he did. And I'll never forget that and so that's why put -- thing on Twitter last night. Specially if you're a man to another man -- to -- work together. Not not just to man a black man and a white man. Two guys who come from two totally different backgrounds in the country. And we had a relationship in which we connect you know at least at that time to each other that we loved loved each. There's somebody in your life coworker friend. Make sure you tell me you love them even though there's a barrier there and that's -- tell this guy of them you know he's just my body my drinking -- -- my -- Whatever. You know. Nobody is ever going to accuse Allen Wilson being less of -- man. Because he told me that he loved me and I'm sure he told a lot of people send you probably sent you might even cut and paste that email he sent to me. But nobody can accuse -- would be in less of a man for telling people that he loved them and so make it a point to do that -- -- point to do ports to.

Chris Bosh says that the fans that left early in Game 6 shouldn't come back for Game 7. Is he right?
Yes. Leaving that game is indefensible. Stay away.
No. It's every fan's right to leave when he/she sees fit. Relax Bosh.
