I think he can be one of the next great players in western new York and I think it says that a few times too. Tomorrow I think you have some reservations about whether he's -- a sophomore point on the list or you know it it's really hard these days because. This year it was more than any other as you can take there's about 35 kids you could take from first team before. And I think a lot of I I can only guess -- base now a lot of that would be their performance in the post season. And sterling deftly showed himself in the post season no we were there other players occurred about and it's not certainly at -- night. I could you could make a case for anybody in the second and third team in under the right circumstances be first team as well. I guess if you go by stats. While to be -- -- today he played he had a great season but his his last performance against kinesis was -- and he says yeah he was he was. Again he's a great player had a great season but a lot of times your remembered by your list performance and that's why set stat wise I would have him ranked higher. Yeah I think he immediately got. You get punished sometimes it be how have a lot of good players I'm assured them the best we discuss the Atlanta bands players and one of the teams that was a big surprise to me -- way down on the match and list before signing Saint Mary's play I mean sometimes you punished by having a team of all good players and you know the guys if you put some of these guys at a different team they have the stats like the other guys and that's the that's the hard part about choosing a team like this to you would be another team from America corps. I think guys and I certainly agree with that one player that I would have liked to have seen it where stayed at the top analysts I like during -- display from Niagara Falls big junior forward. You know he's he's listed at only having nine rebounds a game but it seems like when you watch him play he seems like he has about fifteen to twenty. -- just a very aggressive player on the boards and the glass. Our plays very good defense. Does a lot in the office events who's got a nice shot. He's a good player and he's another player that could be in a discussion of the falls is again the falls very young. They're not Billy being compared. With the people that they're playing now and it's really unfair for them I would say yeah how often are you gonna have teams like like Niagara Falls had -- those guys perhaps never again. Yeah for me I thought that the three point shot that AJ really has changed -- I thought that whatever and at that point right then and there and I seized on an honorable mention as well. Which is kinda surprising to 'cause I thought he had a solid year. You know I think the question that I have as a coach obviously your jobs being advocated your kids but. What exactly is a criteria that you're looking for you looking for kids with great stats are you looking for kids that come from winning programs. Are you looking for kids who played above and beyond what their expectations were at the beginning of the season. And I I think if we ever were able to figure out exactly what the criteria is we're looking for we can certainly get some sound answers some questions that we have. Just a great score great all around player you can see he did a lot balls and so I really like -- -- Keyon was on there. Speaking of McKinley arguably one to have teams big teams in western new York and there's nobody in the top twenty. There's just another example the Saint Mary's syndrome or some of the other well and. And it's very credit to their coaching to I mean I think adding they did a great job with what they had -- have a really great one guy could say is a great score and stuff like that. And he and always the sectional championship that's my plan together and again you get punished for stuff like that you know. -- they have a big stats now they are very. Is it because of their system that he ran. Over at McKinley like Hewitt said over and over the just comment you are in Wade's nonstop you know you almost take the save as a coach because then. You you -- kids a lot of by incidents this amendment and the other hand. By doing that they're kind of eliminated themselves from this can at this kind of matter because they don't have a big guy that jumps out it. But they have eleven guys at all play. And get serious playing time and made it leave it on a court is if they don't leave it on the court they're going to be sitting on the bench. You know -- brings a great point that was one of the questions I was gonna -- -- -- you try so hard throughout the course of the season to get kids to buy into the team concept and it's about winning that's evolved into that next level on and to a certain degree you do get you do get punished and you know -- -- we'll talk a little bit later about some of my guys but I think you know we had a few guys were victim of that. They sacrificed their own individual abilities to make the team better we have our second twenty win season in school history and mean it's the first Manhattan cup but apparently I don't have one of the top twenty players in the area so. Another one know that they kind of slid down and Danny -- could talk a lot about a short ways from time and why some plate three times this year I was really really impressed each of the three times that we saw Jordan Williams on. Even against you guys down and out wonderful. You know unbelievable game down a time and I mean I think he was excellent. To me and a case. I'll -- he could take a bunch of players from animal mention pick ten guys out for that team put them on the floor and playing with any contamination whether players' analyst here. That's a good idea honorable mention before I believe that do you think you could do that are. If I get the pick the right -- I'll take the time of the first team in addition you know Tony and I think they're probably -- of brought this up earlier but this is this is an unenviable situation that Keith and -- sure yeah half runner mean especially in a year where there's so much parity and maybe not. You know the -- The old school means it used to seem to there was a lot of quality depth I think in the Al west New York's election this year and you know certainly a credit to some of these kids who kind of Rose to the top top of the crop. Another one you know that's on the fourteen that maybe in another year there was so much parity or maybe a year with parity indicative to about Mark Bailey from MR west was excellent all year he had a phenomenal season I mean obviously people. Associated with football first but he's probably just as good of a basketball player where yet he's a guard he can carry the ball before doesn't have Duke is a -- -- canned. But he could shoot from the perimeter. He makes plays on defense but he can also drive the -- get those layoffs he's just a very Smart player you can see he has everything worked for a 3.2 steals a game -- pretty darn good to demand oriented defense. Natalie that and out maybe it wasn't the best nagger falls team in recent years when it was still very good job. Niagara Falls -- can more west did beat Niagara Falls I believe and tiger falls on -- -- right mistaken. Dad and his self would justify some from somebody from general wise enough -- Bailey as a user when I agree was John. I think it was only the second loss that the wolverines it's offered in the wolverines. And on the other one press time it was like it is among. How powerful it was it wasn't Western New York human yeah it was an Ortiz or not a lot of Eric and Eric Davis here Eric will be -- -- really I was tired I admit that I apologize. And that what really hurt him is his team lost to weasel north and in the playoffs in a net so what happens is you don't get to see those guys that think that would be. You know Reggie tobacco was probably one of the guys -- up for player of the year the problem is. -- gets seen toward the end because his team lost early and it's no faulting as you know. Unfortunately -- -- it was an aerial act Taraji cost them later on him it's -- it stands while if the thing is -- you get to see people like it's just like being out of public guy you know when you don't see people -- you don't think government until later died in nine Diego rubbery. Get a good -- but it was so long ago because that's the playoff seasons almost a month. Another point you might wanna make I'll make -- Ricardo Torres and Ortiz C second team is probably where eagle -- I think it consensus would put him there but in previous years. Very impressed with Tommy -- and I I really loved his game all year. They were there because -- -- their best players and team -- ever seen Holland play if you haven't added a monsignor of our challenge really let's let's look at Dallas actually side I'll play couples you've seen every everybody else I -- really our job is a very he's a very good player wives when you watched him play at the monsignor Martin EC IC challenge. He was probably one of the best players in the tournament any the end all tournament team be it. You could probably made a case for everything he's a great deepen the player great Trittler great rebounder and he could shoot from anywhere on the courts you mean I'm glad he got deposition does that mean he's probably one of the more underrated last -- kids in Western New York as well well one of the things I think the -- -- this bad as they almost beat OTC ever hang with them for quite some time. And -- it kind of fell off at the -- the same thing cap with silver creek you know on -- and and I think there's. It's good to see seven league -- get there -- he's been toiling in anonymity for awhile and he's always been a really good player on a team as you say that pretty much nobody overseas. And he almost got a chance to be out -- in the limelight and they just felt will be at short to the team that went to the state finals -- -- deserved as a's while -- -- his point. Let me ask you guys this. Can turn India quick look at your crystal ball. Off for a minute and kind of take a look at what next -- it'll look like who could be. Top teams. Top ten teams are who could be possible player of the year next year or first team -- tenacious tenacious tenacious and the big school. On Paper O'Leary and only generally -- the small schools. They're pretty darn good I mean Utley returns as -- player in the area and sterling Tampa's got WB and Amex 'cause if he improves the way -- but he's a first team variety and you know. Usually. Keith is pretty much stated that he would that he doesn't really look to move guys down for perceive it's happened before. But I I think he's going to be very good and and have good team in their they got a chance to do something bad about Niagara Falls for that matter they return four starters innings -- -- They're still -- false notes actively Rogge your game they lost -- loss to come or Weston remakes it. To be the biggest thing the road lost and teachers and make -- based thing in the world to still had a false there's still one of the marquee programs in Western New York. No doubt so they're probably not going to drop off in fact they may even be better. Next year give -- -- another year with these guys again and with 2500 kids in the school you're gonna -- always gonna have some to choose from they're going to be good for a long time. And like you say you know you talk about up. Matt McDonnell and Aaron white from -- honorable mention they're both going back for kinesis along with -- -- a wears a lot. And that -- -- it's a great point because I loved watching Eric Simmons against air air -- Aron white the whole year I mean it was basically just like our point guard sometimes point guards get overlooked because. They don't put up the best stats in the world you know. Statistically speaking two point otherwise Goran why not their job so much what they do in assists two steals those are all essential stats to enemy -- Simmons. Probably one -- best point guards in this area. Aron white probably one of the best point guards in this series and the two earned honorable mention is that a reason of maybe just. Followed by the wayside statistics or you know I don't know. Mean I can speak of -- personally -- only in regards to that I know he was our leading scorer in our leading assists and that's not an easy job when you play the kind of schedule that we play -- mean -- was challenged. And had to do those things in order for us to be successful. And you know part of me thinks that he maybe didn't get his due when McNabb in this conversation about what's New York because he was night in and night out are -- on our best player. Played hurt a lot of the year to you played hurt didn't you know was unselfish did everything we asked became the consummate pointer that we needed to to get to that when he when he -- level. He -- team go there's no doubt about it mean. The employed an up tempo pace and -- you need a point guard to do that and he was the one whenever things kind of got back Donald he would he would take the ball make something happen and you really kill for a point guard they'll make something happen it's because a lot of time you wanna run stop. And the other team knows you run stuff to do stuff to get Noah in the way of it so you have to have some a's could make the plays he was a playmaker like he running do you really want to do your homework. You know maybe we should think about what you gotta like it all defense team you were the best defense of players of Western Europe because those are two guys perfect two examples right there -- -- some of the better defensive. Guys you'll have. What about coming out of -- cup next year Riverside. Yeah Riverside got an audience just this Faggins is is a great player OTC's gonna have a couple guys that are. That are going to be good enough to be on one of these teams they're just really. -- couple of the underclassmen that are there and as a couple that really didn't make that team ball -- Smith was a player a lot the -- collier suffered summer -- There's a few other ones that they have like that and I think would would there they're gonna be the one of the of the favorites and Avery from the beginning.
