We might just have to take a tackle and and and you know -- really. I guess conforming -- just you know he's making it known that that that's the avenue that they're going to no doubt. But you know they have been dropping hints buddy nix has said in the past and an interview that. He believes that there are two to three starting caliber left tackles in the draft this year that you could find -- one that can help you out and they won't. And so that is something that you have to -- into the equation as well. But. Quit when you look at left tackle as a whole they let Demetris bell go Chris Hairston was. Above average when he first got in there and then. As the season wore on he got himself injured and never really was the same after that and and it had to be taken out and in the favor of Demetris felt they were. I'm I'm pretty sure they were. And they were sold on you know just sitting him the rest of the way but it. It turned out that Hairston wasn't ready and Chan Gailey has even said it himself he isn't. Sure if Crist shares and to me that for -- -- athlete he can be the long term option as the starter so that leads me to believe that left tackles in the consideration here -- -- a couple of -- Of the loss was -- -- some people today. Don't worry he was even playing in a healthy anyway half the time or did Eagles just steal another one of our future pro bowler I mean think about. The first game that he didn't play. Did you really noticed it wasn't there now. Then there's no reason that you're gonna go out and sign him to a one year deal for 3.2 five million dollars. It's he really made strides this past year it's the best he's looked so far. But. At what prices does that mean he's essentially a one year wonder has left tackle you don't know if that ever Daniel nothing's ever gonna be healthy -- that the bills have released this year. Have been ones who have been prone to injury Roscoe Parrish a year but Demetris spell CA device though I I don't think it's all that big a loss as long as. They think Chris -- you can do the job or they find someone in the first to third round that can come and compete for that job to. While like the idea of going off at the line and maybe specifically morsel the up at the tackle position is. On you immediately think that you mention regulated protecting Andrew Luck in this case it be protecting Ryan Fitzpatrick. -- which can only help the passing game but. This team also as Chan -- said wants to use what their strength this and that clearly is also running the ball with Fred Jackson's CJ -- Spiller. After Jackson's injury. Did quite well last year and hopefully we'll continue. To get that stride going -- the bills are going to be more successful on offense though. Regardless. Of the bonuses that you'd get -- improved left tackle protecting the blind side. If he suddenly just makes the offensive line better as a -- -- to run the ball more effectively to. I would treat that as a win win and that's where I think that we want the bills to be there were. There were some games last year. Games that ended up we look back at or receive a couple a drive here there a series here that there could have changed -- we said. -- at the end of the day Fred Jackson had fifteen carries -- CJ Spiller only touched the ball four times -- and you know great average per carry numbers. And that when you spread out a defense odds are you're gonna have a few more yards to run a route now that's not taking anything away from Fred Jackson. Or CJ Spiller and what he did at the end of the year. But when you look at what the team needs and and what will. Beat the position to take the offense to. And the next step and get them back to where they were in those first seven games actually you know the first six games because they -- even all that impressive against Washington it's just because Washington couldn't get out their own way in that game. They can be put a drive to get a little points. So. When you think about what will take this office the next level is at left tackle. For me I don't think it is just -- based on the way Chan -- coaches I think there's other ways to go about making this a better. A better unit as a whole. You know while Portland does have the better size may be is a little bit quicker on its feet. Might give Fitzpatrick may be half the second to a second longer. I mean is it really going to replace dating a guy who might be able to the door open get the the walkie passes by Ryan Fitzpatrick that he tends to -- up all the time. I I I tend to think when you have a quarterback who who's kind of inaccurate you want a guy who can go in -- the football out of here and play defense too when when the ball is not -- so. I would. I'm struggling on thinking that they should take attack on the first round but that's where they inevitably go we're gonna have to talk about it but I think all at all I would go for receiver -- On looking forward to trying to commit to for the next week and half the rankled you'll deal with the idea that's not necessarily where I think they are going to draft I know but let let's.
