In Israel get on down it's beautiful day no excuse not to come down and meet projections they hide and also hey Jake I can't say I like your at it as well. What's going on in the world of sports obviously we're gonna. Get to as far as the Buffalo Bills and cutting Drayton Florence and how that affects the team we'll talk with -- -- a little bit later on in this Howard get his thoughts on that. We'll take a look at the depth chart where that stands as far as the bills in the corner situation. And youth movement that seems to be going on in the secondary obviously and concerted effort by the team to go in that direction. But I wanna start today with something that kind of it's been really upsetting me over the last few days and it all started with everything that tragically happened with the juniors say out suicide. California and obviously this on the heels of deep -- -- gig and on the concussion issues and everything that's been talked about with the NFL and the black -- the NFL in the -- football's really been. Really -- in the in the media absolutely. And after I. Saw what happened did you say now after we all watched it and read about it in a tragic was. And what started happening was over the last 48 hours or so especially I think since -- Wednesday Thursday yesterday. That manner. What radio. Show I listen to national local didn't matter what newspaper I opened -- matter what Internet site I went to. Didn't matter what television talk show I listen to a watched. Just seem like there's -- this really big. Bashing. Of the game of football going -- And I think that. One of the issues is these people like Kurt Warner for example who came out on the The Dan Patrick Show and said no he would not let his son's play football and he would try to steer them away from that that is one of the crux of the issue that we're facing now where football that kind of a crisis mode. And Kurt Warner made that statement. A lot of people have been here on this radio station I don't shoot the bull market terrific terrific shows about this. Over the last a few days where they've talked about whether or not you would let your son play football. What the risks of playing football are have been some great comments from all sides of the spectrum coming at you from. Parents out there have been listening to programs in the calling it and from -- the Bulldog themselves. And that's not the only program that's not the only platform that's the only media we've been hearing these things. But really what's kind of bothered me is I think that there hasn't been enough people standing up for the game of football. They're talking about how great of -- game and is it talking about why football is. In can be a tremendous asset -- young men in their use -- also can be very safe and very effective. I think there's kind of a disconnect also between what's happening. With these NFL players who played for so many years and these concussions or finding out about which is obviously there is some sort of link that we know that's going on here. There's a lot of tragedy involved. In the utmost extreme what's happening here there's a lot of these guys are hating debilitating injuries in the brain in the head and things like that. I think that. The connection to be made. Two children playing pop Warner or high school. Who most of which most of which having the very almost all made such a small small percentage will never ever ever go want to play. Much much less a hidden in the and a public even college football. That we're taking these things that are happening to the point point whatever percent of men who played the very highest of levels that -- the games the most physical. For the longest of time what is their career to make sure they're out there and doing things they doing which we know why they're staying in the game when they shouldn't be and things like that. It's that you're in Q well I don't think I should let my son play football because. This is what will happen. And I think that's a pretty big leap for me. I look I played football. Through high school. I was not big enough at the time I graduate high school football to play college. Could probably play division three football like shows you want to go to a bigger schools here teach diversity that's right -- Just I'll play there wasn't a division one player. But I did coach football at. Pretty good level down and a state that as. Some of the best I would say high school athletics in the country's -- football's concerned especially down in Florida. I've been around in coach with a lot of NFL and college people camps and clinics and things like that coaches players I think that. There when you. When you go through when you play the game and you love you so much I love the game of football he -- to -- today with Fred Jackson needs to be out here and T bank obviously. Projection you know these guys that love you football we all. What you played at that level that Fred Jackson's level. In the NFL at junior sales level in the NFL for so many years. Played there. You pop Warner through high school and you just aren't good enough aren't big enough or whatever the reason is to want to played at the next level there's only people who love the game. And we all of the game. But I think to make -- let my son I don't have a set right now maybe this is where I -- and that's what I want your help with today. 8030515. Baited a bite it did you buy that -- numbers or call 803055888. -- 52 -- hidden. Maybe because I don't have children of my own yet. Maybe get that don't have a sudden have to help him make that decision yet. I'm sorry that when I do have a son my plan is that he wants to play football I think that's great and I think that's great. And I'm not gonna be -- someone who takes -- what happened to junior stay out what's happening these concussions in the NFL in the NFL. And taking that particular situation. And applying it's you. Pop Warner in high school and all the positive things all the great things that have happened to me in my friends and how. That has molded us and that has helped us become better human beings have a lot of respect it's not just football by the way it's hockey. I've heard a lot of talk about that all the concussion they're going on it's a fast -- sports of physical sport they all are they're all very physical. And of course I'm not gonna sit here and tell you. That you can't get injured playing pop Warner football or high school football or little. Or Peewee hockey or high school hockey of course you can't of course are always risks involved in that. But what we're seeing is at the highest of levels. The most. Brutal fearsome. And extreme injuries and what's happening to these guys were playing in the NFL what's happening these guys are playing in the NHL now we're starting it here a little bit more about as we go down the road. And we're taking those extremes I think. It's taking a really big connection which to me is is not a connection. As much as it should be as it's not as much connection people making out to be actions say. To the littlest levels. Where there are very there are a lot of safeguards put it in -- not. You're not facing people -- in pop Warner football for example there's people the same weight they play gets in high school football there's so much padding you have to Wear. That's the case in college in the NFL I think half the problem we we are seeing in the NFL I'll be honestly is some of these guys don't Wear their equipment or do things the way they're supposed to protect. Themselves in the league is responsible for that and the players responsible to all part and parcel to the same thing. I'm here to defend the game of football today because I think the game of football is under attack what it shouldn't be. What should be under attack is how the safety. And that where what is happening at the top and highest of levels. In -- protecting people in other protecting themselves those other things we should be looking. The game of football is a great game. And I have no problem telling you re here as I sit. That when I have a son. And he tells me at a young age daddy I'd like to play football. I think that's great I'm not going discourage that if he doesn't roughly that's awesome too it's fine with me. But I've heard a lot of people on the other side of the ledger over the last. Few days that the -- say I think it's been growing ever since all these concussions have been happening and we met so much talk about it ever so many people. Kept putting the game under attack. And how they would trip Jews do not let their son play because of what's happening that's great that's your right as a -- we all know that you your -- apparent is that helped put your children's situations where they can be safe and they can be protected even though they have. A lot of information. That will you know help them as they get older but they're not maybe old enough to understand yet. But. That being said. I don't expect whenever somebody else are we gonna become a college football player much less an NFL player. And I think the lessons he can learn the things didn't go through and yes he can he needs to be tough there's going to be you're gonna come home. -- bumps and bruises when you play these sports like football like hockey like other sports out there that many be out. And many of you watch your son to go through and I understand and I'm probably gonna get some calls they can we say -- guess what -- I played pop or high school I LE concussions now I get that I understand that I'm not saying it's it's I'm not saying it's totally impossible of course it can happen. Of course it will happen. But I think the game being under attack the wade is under attack as the -- Not the NFL about the safety precautions that are happening at the highest of levels is where should be looking at concentrating because it is a great game. It it's really bothered me over the -- I mean you're you're reading a guy like any staples on Sports Illustrated wrote an interesting column. And SI dot com to get jets go read where he makes all these radical proposals about rule changes. And I don't know of those and maybe he's right maybe he's wrong. He says maybe should have no helmets and I've heard that before I actually heard that before from people who studied this particular issue. Where maybe if the helmet is actually the problem. And not the the help because people abused used helmets as weapons. I've heard suggestions it's still a view about eliminating kick off because this is where the biggest problems commit. As far as the high speed collision that happened with these guys. Who knows what the actual answer I do know that thirty to be some safeguards they can but especially get I'll reiterate. At the highest of levels as we you know as we get older and as we watch these guys were getting so big so strong so fast so physical and their livelihood their livelihood. Their paycheck. Is depend upon being out on the field that's why a lot of them unfortunately choose to be out there when they shouldn't or a lot of teams. -- -- -- Lot of teams and organizations. Have elected to look the other way in those situations. I love to get a football I don't wanna see. It pains me it hurts me as a lover of the game as a person who played at a young age. And as someone who believes that there are so many great lessons -- all -- sports not just football hockey it's all -- -- it pains me it hurts me to see the game itself. Under attack like this from so many people so many levels about the youth level about pop Warner about high school about -- about Little League whatever it is wherever sport whatever level. So I'd like to defend that today. And maybe you. Think I'm off my rocker and I am just being big brute who you know knows no other. Knows nothing else other than playing the game and how it's just for these big strong guys you gotta be tough but not what I'm saying at all. 8030550. 888552. By fifty. The numbers to call today you wanna jump in this conversation I appreciate you doing that he can also tweet me I am. Sell sports he also tweaked my producer if you ever watch his name is Matthew -- that is an ATP. HEW collar CO LO ER thinks what the -- back at the studio -- all the buttons today as we're live here at an NT -- to get out the phone calls it like to hear. What you say today about this particular issue. And do you think that I am. Maybe I'm going a little too extreme maybe I'm thinking that. Football is under attack when it may -- it's not maybe people are being a little more reasonable I think it is under attack. And I don't think it should be as much as people are making it out to be as far as the lower levels and high school level and by the way. I do have some suggestion that I think that one of the issues and I've been on about this whole issue with concussions. Suddenly I talked about many times and I'll bring it up here just a little while again. Is the way a lot of these guys at both the college and the NFL level are wearing their helmets that you don't see as much of a high school level. Let's start off with DND and you're up first on WG -- our -- go ahead my man. -- This -- agree with you more about what. And god I put a lot of things thoughtful all lately. And it's mostly. The hard -- certain that to their head in the improper technique in use -- players today. And I was I grew up playing football through my you all the way through high school. And must thank you that is what bill board but you won't gain much. -- -- quite double but. When you again coaches. In high school football. The main thing keep your head -- -- that older right numbers and destroyed. Let them off the ground and how that destroyed over your shoulder speak your you what you did. And that's a big part about it that. Also welcome the beautiful game what -- it right -- -- textbook tackle what it equally somebody. Survival rate -- ground well what brought their oaths and that's beautiful and you know definitely -- playwright. He played full speed player right you're not gonna get hurt like these guys are. And you can't accuse you can't you can't get of course there's a risk that there's a risk in every sport you play there's a risk and riding your bike down the street as well like getting her by the way. Right right playing the right way with the right track meet but it is much Paper and many articles you as much Paper. What are your own hands feet and again. You're not in this it you're gonna get in a vulnerable position and you're gonna get. I hope I think he was -- the big game right thank tackles but what I've seen. People will be okay that's why I love Indy. The hope that such an -- at the same card. Thanks a lot people keep -- focus on if they. Yet no problem yet sorry about that yet thank you appreciate that it and under he had -- problem -- is come from the same cloth that I am here. Maybe you're not 803055888550. To 550 I think the game of football is under attack and it shouldn't be as much it has been lately and the -- to be some changes made at the top levels because -- the NFL level I'll talk about one of those changes -- -- I think it's something that can really help. It's a simple change. Talk about that we return we are live at and T bank 7300. -- that roadways the c'mon now -- that we hear from 123 Mac -- got sports accidentally GR. Welcome back to sports talk Saturday here at -- GR Sports Radio 550 I felt the pot you alive. At and T bank 7300. Transit wrote in believes though we are just about -- Power away from. The regional manager of MT bank and he is out here today with us and with you hopefully -- -- of 300. Trio that wrote in ways we'll meet Fred Jackson getting back to our topic of discussion today. Interesting topic for some of you out there who probably disagree with some of the things I've said as far as defending football thinking -- under attack. Maybe I'm making the rash rush to judgment in defending the ball a little bit too much let's be honest -- I think there's just too much of a disconnect between people who are trying to make the leap between what's happening in the NFL -- the highest of levels. The people who most people out there will never ever have the ability to get that far it's up in the people were -- -- pop Warner high school throughout it's not just football. -- hockey as well. And get -- text me at 55550. Tweet me -- -- sports. I appreciate that to the -- through. Texted me about me reference thing that I ever I'm lucky enough to have a son of course I'm. I'm ever lucky to have any kids sudden daughter of course but we're talking about football right now I specifically talking about. When he sun possibly play football that where the case that's why referenced that but in the meantime let's go -- to Brian Brian your on WGR go ahead Brian. Ever. Dominion and the opening up in the room -- -- opinion because it won't act when they got a cute that you. If you look in the bank or. And yes -- who ethnic the end. I want it from the night before being caught on people forty. He kept it up with -- -- I'm not a medical expert by any stretch but. From the -- I didn't sleep -- I -- it who. The concussion. You don't I Trevor how important or forty and I know better. But it is. Bad if it's all right in book form and wanna be broad enough that developers are probably -- -- -- the actors. They have if you inherit everything -- who who -- a lot would say it would it -- -- -- his head -- Well I agree with you that that is the the big elephant in the room that. Obviously people have talked about by the way it's funny that we focus on performance -- drugs so much in baseball. When it really we haven't talked about that much as far as football and other sports are concerned but I do wanna just making a clarification -- right. Those 94 chargers which you are correct you're eight guys who have died at a young -- So a couple of them were accident related that was a plane crash in Florida there was a car accident but -- but the general sentiment I agree there have been some issues with that team particularly. And I'm not well let's go back like you know I really wanted to -- guys that played a very and I -- -- -- being accused the north -- But it didn't. They kept you in all these people didn't think either of them either I don't get that is that. The depression in the it's -- happier than it ever at. Thanks a lot Brad appreciate the phone call us -- There is eight. There is one issue I've always see every single week get this comes from me someone who's. Play the game watch the game coach they came that I see this happen every week at the major college level -- at the NFL level but it just. Really irks me that bothers me so much. If you're ready Davies out their whose son does play or your coach in the pop Warner the high school level and you'll have talked about here and. I think that you you know when you fit equipment -- kids are deal complaining because the helmet hurts right. Every single week I watch. College football -- the NFL these helmets popping off left and right. Hate to keep you can't have a kickoff return in college it seems like these days without a helmet rolling down the field that somebody lost about their nod okay. What are the issues this is. And I'm not talk about the long term effects of concussions of course here to operate mainly in a game of the guy getting cautioned that things like that in of course those can contribute to want to respect. One of these issues is at the highest of levels. Guys -- really sacrificing. Safety for comfort. What I mean by that is watched them put their helmets on and off they take them off like baseball caps to go aren't they go off it's so easy look Natalia. If you -- helmet to fit right you want to protect your head. How would you be tight until the -- how mature hurt against your forehead helmet should leave a little bit or -- market your forehead he should -- the pull the -- holes off. -- the pulled out I should say and put pill pull helmet off your head -- -- when you put it back down -- your holes out -- and put it back on. Go watch some of these college guys of their knee pads and they're they're iPad so then some -- NFL don't even Wear them and it's not just the helmet issue but of course we're talking about ahead. We'll watch their helmets. They don't buckle their chin straps and I think that we need to put some legislation NFL about more -- a equipment properly. Because we're giving the players out and of course they're going to. Try to abuse -- they can't when they're doing something you -- the uncomfortable playing a game that they're making their living at W would be comfortable you can perform at the highest level. But it is a look at the sound on the players but let's make some NFL rules about how. Helmets should fit. How much you don't -- -- Jabil to check that yeah I think that's a huge issue I watch these helmets fly off every week there's no reason for. What you -- helmets on keeping on right necklace for everybody out there fiddle when you're fit I'm the youngest levels in the -- says daddy. -- -- -- That's the good things done -- means that it's that it's been tight. Let's go out to Mike you're up next under the GR what's up Mike. National. You know I didn't you know -- the -- -- you -- -- -- under which insisting his. You know that the political climate where we -- from individual responsibility or -- ethical choice let affect other. And there's some really super political situation predicted there. And I fell gimmick joke that we entered their critical -- there. So right because that's what we're seeing him. And -- you -- immediate to -- -- it because a lot of people in the media is more or. There's or -- liberal and hope we don't can be here with being. It happens orders or to just felt it was more. And -- either so I'm 42. And -- -- I would have no problem -- my foot putt that would be his choice. And music players -- what they understand. Risks involved. Well I think that other team could -- -- for sure it was and yes. Are you ask Carol. It'll royal. 34 years a lot of I was curious to -- as our look at. The safety issues in the sport late -- equipment they tightened up rules players lacking right out there I was separated the conservative political football. Very. And there's gonna come out of this -- make -- safer world to us now where political arena well. Thanks a lot like it actually talent I agree I think this is going to become political I am generally against anything in sports that goes into the. In congress and things like that when we talk about baseball and legislation and things like that I. I generally just don't agree to take it to that -- and take it that far because I think you'll we have such a can of warms it where does -- -- where's it stop. And that's what we've done in several things throughout many sports. College become the BCS will soon go to congress intervening coming -- so many more things that they should be worried about than. These kinds of issues but of course I agree Mike I think that is the road we are going down here right now we see -- but all the lawsuits that are coming out with these guys pursuing the NFL. Because of all these concussions that are happening and the way that they are their bodies are function or not functioning. As they get older let's go out this -- who's -- that sports talk Saturday is that. They. I know -- talk about it. You know you've -- about -- and -- and instead the helmet and that I think you're right you know you that it be beat in the post mentality. And you know I don't know when I wouldn't but wouldn't make a Little League probably through but it was like a big emphasis -- -- -- victory had better definitely amount beat -- then. You know you talk about lower and lower leg injuries all the time in the NFL now I mean none of these guys Wear -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- but -- -- -- -- -- Mean I -- you know. You know and then I think I wanna mention -- out. For a man and it got me because I hit right. Number the numbers had I mean. I mean these guys even detect -- -- -- no it always ideal but I mean how many these guys actually tackling the right way and maybe that. A pig in you know I mean -- either get -- and been away from plane for awhile I mean. I was at them they're neglecting it maybe some that we got a look at -- it's just teaching how to do it rightly. You know than we my -- and hit mute down the road we're gonna lose some reason. The other sports original plate and I mean that yeah I'll give them out and I'm -- income of one army that -- this week. I mean that the audit that -- -- I was just thinking about people maybe. You know look you know wait you keep doing what he's an appearance and -- the dot. Absolutely I grew the -- thanks a lot -- Yeah no no doubt about that there's just so much going on as far as these guys who are. Getting to that level and these guys who are having a lot of these issues with the Natalee had tropical like trauma as well and I think that. One of the things that we have to look at and exactly the point about the lakes that -- the paddle save other got a lot of knee injuries that have nothing to do wearing pat we've seen that over the years we saw. We've seen guy -- with a look at even a basketball Derrick Rose no egos and Elaine he stops he has a twisted knee look at Mariano Rivera what happened him just the other day. These things can happen even if -- even if you're not talking about lack of patting but I do think at the head part. Above the shoulders. Is that the necessary -- lack of the padding is he wearing them correctly wearing them properly I think that's where one of these issues of one of these discussions -- starts -- simple. Yeah I mean maybe I'm municipal and about it but you know what I think it's true and I've watched every week it bothers the heck out of me. Every time recede especially the college -- I'm like what are these college coaches don't tell these guys the buckle up. They have those things are tight of how -- should not come off your head but it's a baseball cap. And that's basically what's happening. -- your -- -- sports -- Saturday the BGR what's up Bob. And our good Buddy -- He won't historical perspective people back the lady under early nineteen hundreds organized football was pretty much only played collegiate level. And there were players -- a regular basis collegiate level view of this that this thing hit. What they lack thereof. And what was going down -- -- -- person rattling a Paper that they were going to do some pretty happy legislation. If -- didn't clean it up and they hit. And I think -- a parallel -- -- -- -- they were helpful -- now outside we personal responsibility -- at least play the game spot. It's -- 48 and I think you're making it when he stopped -- on any match. Yet -- that takes up about not only that but again let me reiterate as well when we talk about I think this whole discussion -- they started from. Radio. Newspaper magazine. Television Internet whatever your platform and every media me listening and hearing. Football coming under attack for so many out there is that we'll never let my Sunday this will never let my child latest -- the game to game the game the game. And I think the football has become under attack unfairly. As the overall picture is concerned football's a great game. And I believe that any son. The daughter you wanna hit here -- there's girls play pop or in this country anybody who goes through that experience. I think can only help you weekly T sports and much sum up the ball. We've heard about the concussions do you -- you learn camaraderie. You make friendships last for like you learn how to be coached by different people. And different ways. You learn about teamwork and respect for your opponent in the greater good. Working towards that goal in those things I think that we are talking about -- that are really a great part of the sports that we -- we let our kids play. And we see what's happening in the NFL. And we say what we that we don't want our son that to happen that -- might respond -- that will let let's remember that very very very few. Really really small percentage. -- anybody ever play this game when your 5671415. Years old ever. We'll get to that level and by the time they get that level. They will have many more resources especially if we go forward here. To make more of those decisions that you can't and they can't together with each other. And that's really I think the disconnect in the -- that people are making that I think is unfair. About what's happening to these guys at that level. It taking it down to do some appeal playing outside idled thousands of people like Agassi by don't know thousand maybe I know hundreds but. Hundreds of thousands of young men and girls they play. Pop Warner -- high school football throughout that. Do you have friendships with we talk with do you think now we may be one of them they did these things are happening to. Dumb. Maybe we're gonna find out somewhere down Colorado wrote that there's a person here person there there's a group of people whatever. But the extreme percentage of what's really happening is really coming from the highest of levels and the guys who played for -- that their life. In their paycheck basically and their livelihood depends on it. 8030550. -- is gonna come up -- -- next on the other side of this break to talk about rape and -- the bills cut injury report. What it means for the Buffalo Bills going four's ahead in the training camp in just a couple of months I am live at an anti banks have a 300 tree -- the road and when you look. Fred Jackson just arrived command Alameda myself to pot -- met gala got sports net and forced out Saturday at WGR. That was Buffalo Bills great Steve tasker on with Daschle for the bulldogs earlier this week on WG are giving his perspective. The entire concussion issue and players and later on in life and if you listen that tired of UST tester which I believe that our audio fault at WGR 550 dot com. He also said many of the same things I've been saying here today which is. Yes there is this risk that goes along with it especially the higher level but. There's so many great things about the game that -- we also need to focus on and talk about that go along with playing the game. And my issue that I've had over the last few days after what happened -- Allen all day. Base the discussion revolved around this issue. Has been so many people who said well I will not let my son or daughter whatever you wanna go that route I will not let my son play football. And my eight response to that is why do you think he's going to make the NFL. Because I I really don't know many people who played just pop -- just high school who got that level have not advanced the college or you know NFL ranks. That you know we're hearing all these same issues about I think that we're drawing a really big. Line and I mean it's it's it's a huge recent huge leap of a line between what's happening these guys have played the highest level. -- letting our kids play at the lower levels and I think that that's just the big disconnect that we should not be tried to connect with so many people. Are of course but in the meantime the bills that make news this week. On the field off the -- I guess you'd say -- affect them on the field but later this year and that is. Cutting cornerback Drayton Florence so. After fears about -- -- no longer a buffalo bill and -- to welcome in our own -- the -- -- gonna talk with us. A little bit about that -- about what you got going battle that it later today when you. Hear from him as well good morning Joseph how are you my man. Good morning validate input I haven't spoken with you and forever. I know it we're -- -- so so lot of last week ground so many days in a row so many hours than you and I of course that a little TV action together some College Baseball that was pretty fun but it's -- -- to get my man and and they got some things going on today a little bit later in. You're gonna be a -- -- we'll talk about that a little while -- the first your initial reaction to the release of Drayton Florence -- what it means for the Buffalo Bills. You know I I thought it might have come over a year ahead of schedule but when you look at when you look at B. What he's. Do debate and not in terms of what the -- going go under terms salary cap figure. It four point nine in the -- this year and then back -- your would be five point nine that McCain can. And you know leaving even though the -- you have room last. It's still -- good because they can values that volume in the the last. He's the pro rated. -- pro -- signing bonus for the last couple of years but it in terms what they can do it that they have. Backstroke four point lead -- on the salary cap they go out. And Brian. Central you know waiver waiver -- it huh. Bill Miller Park in them. You know warrants to me was. If you don't follow locker room guy but I think his game -- we regret black yourself up. That's the you know 20000 and that he really stepped his game up and maybe that might have and the limelight because there were -- a lack of a lack -- Orioles. Effort to stop the run but at the hole I thought that. That Warren plant you're kind of took the bat toll that the bad times hit one great play against illegal word for corporate lockdown but. Freedom of the -- you know or and a veteran of forgettable year and the -- addressing them on Gilmore -- -- overall connect. They're going they're trending toward the youth movement. They're hoping that. That it if you -- though. I didn't mind the floor move but but they better be sure that the young guys can handle it. A joke this is gonna -- sleep and the fact. Retired quarterback situation in. A couple of guys in particular and that is going to be Stephon Gilmore there. Number one draft pick I think Leodis McKelvin as well because a lot -- that point the finger that -- was actually. The guy that maybe should they cut I disagree with I think I actually think Leo has played better than -- last year he just. Was more in the limelight for mistakes because they were so much more egregious on film you saw him make those mistakes were strictly -- losses may have too many times. And he was clearly beaten -- plays but. Can you just speak about Stephon Gilmore -- going to training camp in the -- Mckelvin. Yeah -- -- now pick up on your Mckelvin players. I think it also -- the fact that he was the first round pick him yes people. As people see that you know. It's it's the golf they would her you see any mistake of that player and it's just just blown up because -- earlier lift up through the hype of being a first round pick. I'm told that the -- moving report. You know I think I think he's -- all of the game you know he's obviously someone that's. The Chan Gailey truck in the special teams department -- I think that's going to be is its contribution. But you know I wouldn't necessarily rule him out. Essentially. Fighting for. I'm playing on the corner of your eye with him he's got all the schools that prepare in. You know I still think that Bill -- might have the police and have that says that he'll be able files that. And whether or not that that's -- older. Or whatnot. I don't think that -- -- -- -- believe that the open might be able to back though whether that means starting all not really earth. But but I do think you'll get some luck -- and they're trying to earners earn a spot urban Borough rotational -- -- quarterback. Now for Gilmore thank you I think with him. If he might he'll have every opportunity in the world reclaim his starting job that's European -- Williams will have every opportunity to beat the Tampa. But it will truly young -- really hate the rain that's a huge question mark you know you have here review there who. Prepare our restructured contract. Okay in the in hope of -- around them. I don't think that they they think a lot of perfectly and he's really someone that. But they've depended on brought it here -- -- at the Paramount because of the -- factor but repeat PayPal speaker I think -- labor Robert if we get a lot of playing time too so. They're they're about the or guy there that you -- they have. At a -- to potentially play expert urban problem could be entered into beltway don't drink it here. -- I don't I know you don't mind for 12 just take a quick backseat to Fred Jackson -- can join me here. Before he gets the sign autographs here -- -- it's obvious -- -- -- -- -- -- we'll get back to the second it's not go to got a little bit. Later -- you'd think -- Fred Joseph had a project these are the outset. But aren't there but not too bad. 200 -- That that scheduler that we're in and it's getting -- -- talk all you guys again -- -- -- -- -- -- -- let's -- back if Brett welcome. This man has always good to be a great day for it off and they tell me what's going on your MT bank today. Just come and -- you wanna come out here hang out with Fred Jackson you know I don't know how fun that sound but the thing that you know if you wanna come in you know I think I'll take a couple of -- -- most definitely will lose the. Absolutely come on down here 7300 transit road in Williams bill now if you're coming from the city you take the through way you get off at the first exit after the told the if you exit. You make a left which is a couple miles down the left hand side to come on down -- C Fred Jackson. -- obviously have. In the news well I've been talking about a lot today is the concussion issue the NFL first and and and forefront and so many people talking about football might take the position say that. I just it bothers me that the game is under attack so much because they love the game so much and we're talking so much about the the negatives of the -- the so many positives to talk about it. I wanna get your thoughts you have young children and -- what you thought about them playing football at a younger -- and growing older. I would love for mark is applicable you know my son is is five now and -- all he talks about this football. So. You know it's it's a physical sport so you have to note as of that is a -- going in. And you always want to be safe as possible and you know hope that you know everybody's doing their pardons in making sure that they have the best technology and the helmets and things like that there wound but. -- love nothing more from. More than -- -- not a political vulnerability watch him do it. And you know I think that's what he wants to do -- -- no definitely not gonna keep them from doing that you know if anything ability to. Know the skills that I know you know better help them prepare believable so. Hopefully I'll get that opportunity simply. From what about the positives that taught you throw -- -- -- -- like you had to go through so many different roads and had to learn so many different nuances that to get to where you are. What did it teach you be on the actual you're playing the game wasn't done for you as a man I mean it makes you -- it it allows you to be you know great family members you. You know. Hanging out with guys who would constantly you know you learn how to interact with people. You know you. Learn how to talk to people learn how to deal would. You know be empathetic with other guys -- that are going through this thing is that you are things like that so. If it's just a great way to help you become a good person. You know you can learn from other people you know you get great guys like you coaches that can teach being home I think. That's the same -- sport but no more so we're football visit the -- and a lot of people the football field and allows you -- things like that. Let me get it it is a lot of Grasso asked you a quick what you think about that draft pick your team as some good. Young players into the mix now how they I think our. Front office did a tremendous stuff you know they've they've definitely scouted well and salt you know talent that they felt can come in and help us right away so. Anytime you can get some guards come in and -- -- contribute you don't pull off an atomic but there's a team you know you're excited about that as a player. I make the move a -- -- other secondary guys. I guess we'll let you know Erica we'll see about knowledge it will get you back down again it's not policy is going today that -- Fred Jackson of the Buffalo Bills tracks number 22. Joining us on the that right here live at the remote they -- Emmet -- bank -- 300 trio that wrote in -- -- joke. I am up against the clock you're just minutes I wanna talk -- quickly about what you got going on today with Greg about everybody where you are what you gonna do him a man. And I Greg and I will be at the Batavia downs casino. We're we're -- -- beer. Will be hosting sports -- -- -- from the air in the five. And so it if you come on down the proceeded down in million others. -- a lot of great things flaw obviously handicapped or -- like helping you out if you're if you're lucky you're the back in and you know they've they've been pretty successful -- obviously a lot of great food specials for them to -- And so I mean. Director. -- OTB handicap for Clayton director Mark Bryant and our will be there help out and you know Thurman Thomas will also be on site so there's there's a lot of little things going on at AB down it's you know put your bills and here. Your ability and or to the horse racing and general will be -- -- bell herself a bright and I'll be hanging out mobile and will be a lot of phone book and enjoyed it. So you Greg Thurman Thomas whole bunch of people out there today I got Fred Jackson -- Lloyd taco truck just pulled -- that -- are here so we recovered well replaced you'll have a have a great afternoon enjoyed on the government. I'm good about what you later. -- that is -- this we can't project here with us and he is 17300. -- and that road and Williams abilities and -- bank is part of make the movement that MT bank -- announce the -- and say hi in the league -- dollars sports and we'll return with more sports -- Saturday and WGR.
