You know that they really interesting if Danica Patrick has decided to DDoS star race because a lot people but. It they would -- been an incredible. They -- showdown between her and her. Her Nationwide Series spot. Yet the -- and reveals their race next week at him that's really the only way -- can make. Unless he wins the qualifying race the only other way he's gonna make the -- races by winning the fan vote. Because of his winless streak but last night's race Bob. Big weight off the shoulders of all the Hendrick Motorsports drivers Jimmie Johnson finally gets mystery to 200 win -- Just day yes solid performer and say typical performance from all fight time last night. Did not come as Tony Stewart finished third that you know when you win it when you win at 200. It's good to winning cabin dominating fashion and Jimmy can dominate that race especially late though. And they -- typical. 48 teen style and you know which is. Battled some adversity and only get you down and that. That seems to kind of been what would help them back a little bit. And note on the last sixteen races but that this past weekend in Jimmie Johnson hit the ball early. They've fixed the cars there during a practice then pick a little bit more Saturday morning. Pick crew doesn't have a great -- during the race. Loses some spots that they come back and rip off some good stops later in the race and go -- to get that the 200 for Hendrick Motorsports. It I'm looking at the 48 team stats this season really it if you subtract the the to plate races of the accidents earlier in the show at Daytona until they -- take out those two finishes. Jimmy appear points -- probably as. That if you take those races out he has been typical Jimmie Johnson a seasoned just right click and upgrade top ten finishes. Yeah and he noted that the only thing kind of -- have been a win and I know some people say well. You know what the -- you harping on a sixteen race winless streak not that they purge anybody even for like all of Hendrick Motorsports. They haven't gone on a sixteen race winless streaks since 2001 and the 2001 started the 2000 -- had been a decade. Since they have lost that much. You know that it's that they. -- is hard to say what's wrong but it it it was one it's one of those things where they. They usually don't go that long without a win hands. It and the thing that I think they're frustrated. Jamie. Over this stretch is that there were races that they could have won that they didn't and typically that wasn't you know that there at that teams seem like that every year they would. Win races. That there are supposed to win improbably from that station of one. And now live with seem like it's kind of a bit payback time from everybody has things you may dominate today but today in packet take on the trophies though. I think you -- think you know they got this one. At Darlington now hopefully we'll get get that kind of no -- back were were there winning races that that they're supposed to win. One other thing about the 48 team Bob how much of mode Joseph regain came from getting those 25 points back after the the penalties were overruled. Earlier this season for the violation down -- at Daytona and they got the -- five point spec how much of that may -- I don't save their season but just maybe kept these guys from it didn't even more pressure put on and what have a -- make up that deficit how huge was that for them. I'm not sure how huge it was as far as. As as far as you know moment to men and -- crap like a rallying me against the world type -- Pride that I think what it did was it just. He kind of relieved the pressure. That. Perception and even though they're gonna still be some people say well you know they. They're cheaters early cheaters always have been always will be I think there's some perceptions and from getting those points back that hey. Maybe NASCAR was a little bit. Initially. Not fair with them and then and that is one of those times where they AM they they didn't get. They get treated like everybody else so. And I think it it's anything it just stand it's it's kind of cleared their minds a little bit and allowed them to focus on racing. And and performing at at their best rather than worrying about perception and just dealing list. With you know cricket looks for from everybody in the garage. There's yelling some pushing and shoving it and a NASCAR officials that have pushed up on the hood of one of the cars. In let's -- there any punches per round but certainly you tempers certainly you know people meaning to be held back. Until the accounting for one of the the. That in the 51 team James -- I mean they've been trying trying hard this season they haven't really seen the results. What do you think is the future for this team really make it all the way to homestead. That's kind of been of the big questions since the start of the year I think they'll make it. And as long as they indeed they yet again have a good finish but they're running up front for three quarters of the race Jones and speed and I think as long as they do that. As long as no other team hires her version. I think Kurt Busch stayed there the rest of the year you know now they have you know the times -- they if they have more races where they're just not that. Fat -- not running up in the top fifteen then maybe you would see page make it changed I don't think this is going to. -- -- -- Two to make it change. And less obvious that would British captives some of them other driver brings sponsorship who's they feel somewhat compare though they may you know I'm looking -- next year.
