That's not here so your like your out of the -- on the navigator -- in your studio in your. Hammer studios it's putting. Yes that's a good year -- so now that that's this is the gate the gate yet fulltime bills radio political -- and the Internet. You know a lot of video work I hope my unit -- along you know pieces and help you know where they need -- Angel from -- you know you over the years and as crossing of course back back. I think in the second most important offseason acquisition after I wanna sit but if you buy and that aren't -- didn't no I'm not that important at all but it I think it's -- it's an amazing offseason and it and it's you know and I that you guys I it was you guys a lot human Mike and you know a lot and I -- the callers when the call and people see what changed this year what happened this year why the bill to in this you know what Bulldog and I told Mike this I know when you and I may have had this conversation things really began to change a couple of years ago when when -- and body. Came on board and it took awhile for them to implement their vision -- to get the pieces in place -- you can almost see they started this and it's been a painful growing process no question about that. I mean an eight game losing streak two years ago seven game losing streak. Last year that's painful at that hurts but they've endured the pain they kind of built methodically fight identifying. -- is the quarterback and Stevie is the you know the go to wide receiver and an identifying you know Kyle Williams is an important piece obviously Fred Jackson probably most valuable player on the roster the last three years. And now they start to add that supplemental pieces like Mario Williams and and Mark Anderson and and draft this -- -- I think it's been a three year process that is I don't think anything changed you know in February or march I think it's been -- three year process that is just now beginning to bear fruit. Only wonder John how long their goal they I -- talking a buddy -- when they signed Mario Williams like that hit him being targeted. Made sense and and buddy nix told me he thought. You know knowing the kid from Evans -- and when he was in college that his make up he'd be open to buffalo -- was here he would be looking for Miami necessarily right. I wonder how old early on they were thinking about him what you're talking about three year plan. You know when guys contractors come up you don't -- for sure they're gonna become freeagent but I wonder if as last season unfolding and he's -- -- they're significant. -- -- Yeah I mean I don't I'm sure by you know by the end of last season I wonder if it's even before that -- probably don't wanna cut I don't know the answer that question but it wouldn't surprise me if they have. You know targeted if you guys if you key guys. Know what their contractual status is -- when they're going to be up in. And start to determine and maybe internally debate do they fit here which they work here do we need that person we need that player and I think in this case. It was like the perfect storm they knew Mario games with it here. They had a tremendous recruiting that week you know after three days in listening you know while -- quarterback that take them out the deer showed up right -- that right. I'm -- right I mean everything kind of it was a perfect storm of circumstances that brought the guys -- those three days were about -- -- it as. -- as any three days I've ever working in this business being on the show talking and I mean it was just it was not yet it was fun and it was a it's sort of I think if you forgot it all in the last couple years in May be the last decade. You've worked tanner wrote it was reinforce that the bills do mattered nationally and and the NFL stage that they are still players. They swung and missed a few times in free agency with some other player moves but. That that when they certainly you know home run it appears in ways the proof is in the -- certain. You guys are totally were moving to the point with a couple weeks -- -- live sports programming but while the -- it's fantastic add dimension. Mean to him a couple other things I'm curious about your thoughts on a moment's time you've got your with a split rained -- golf and completely. It's Patrick I talked to Ron Jaworski yesterday about the mechanics of Ron was in town for via a golf tournament -- oddities -- -- country club and there's been a lot talked and written. Said and written about that's Patrick mechanics and the new quarterbacks coach going to work on it. Yeah any thoughts on and I will get a particular. I I didn't hear draws I did hear the beginning part of your conversation about that and I'd be curious to know what Ron Jaworski said is I do consider him an expert on the topic I'm not an expert on court mechanics but I do like this. I think David Lee has a background 36 years of coaching. Other -- new quarterbacks coach has in his resume several quarterbacks he's helped the flourish in blossom in the league. But almost is import people like I love fits his reaction to it and I was there last week yeah maybe -- couple weeks ago. And I asked a question you know you're not a rookie united young guy really anymore in the league. How you feel about -- somebody community and in just a mechanics. And in typical self deprecating right Fitzpatrick mode he said. You guys see me throw a bit at it was great because he knows it'll get better and he knows specifically how we can get better and David Lee has talked about how we can get better. Throw in a deep pass maybe like not -- in candidacy to the way he has in the past. I just think you have a pretty good combination there of a very good teacher and David Lee in an extremely. Bright and engage studio right Fitzpatrick. You know he is what he is a mean and and I say this too and I heard the initial stages of your discussion yesterday. I think I don't know the there was a breakdown and Ryan Fitzpatrick game last year to the extent that many people think there was. To the numbers show that he played better first six games vs the rest of the season of course they do a couple of factors you know that shot to the ribs and still -- acknowledged was broken -- OK but really if you look at that seven game losing streak. They were playing from behind. Just about every game I kept every game in that seven game losing streak about midway through the second quarter -- standing next mark Kelso the brackets who. And I'd look obviously market seventeen did and markets when he went to the game -- -- you gotta play not a comeback. That's -- -- the interceptions come in fits his force and stuff and trying to make things happen because they were always playing from behind the defense of problem which. Presumably has been fixed now and I think he's gonna be a lot better when he's not trailing seventeen to nothing when he when not in the second. We don't know what to worst he thought he -- he's in these network not a no he eats and don't want all season he said is you know every offseason. And last offseason that -- -- and -- fees and and now he's got the quarterbacks coach and it's not like the -- -- throwing in this sport works alarmed he was pretty optimistic about it. -- and pretty bullish on the Bill Clinton was yeah yeah I am -- I think I think the bills are capable with Brad Fitzpatrick -- -- offenses. You know when the defense is good good enough to stop people ones while I mean -- where they try and you know the -- they were given -- touchdowns and first possessions in virtually all of those seven games. Opponents were scoring a touchdown. I used to the stats and analysts here I don't have -- up front but the defense was abysmal. They are always playing -- it may be different when that doesn't matter.
