Maybe I'm not that I want you to talking about it but. At at which I hope I hope they should stay in the first some good weeks in the consumer not that what -- Pletcher broke his ribs and we can I think. -- -- -- -- a popular -- but I can imagine trying to sort all the broken that sort. -- I don't know I don't. And you can't play from behind like that all the time that's when the interceptions mount you know when you're pressing trying to make -- play. Trying to catch up you don't seventeen to nothing twenty do nothing you're trying to catch up I think that was the the central issue for. You know fixes drop off in the -- you want it was so many interceptions. The Dallas and Miami and come to mind it just got out of hand sole fact. And in the first month or so of the season when they're winning the defense was -- given up 300 plus yards but you had an offense that would allow the defense that fail or have a bad day you could still win the football game. I think it goes and hammer because I always thought to me. What they've done defensively now gives the offense a day where they can say I if we're not firing on all cylinders you can still win the football -- it -- -- -- to be 3220s. Eight it could be. To anyone seventeen or 1714. But he reversed that last year the offense needed to score. Like every possession because the defense has given up a truckload of points and Alison many righted it. I hope -- -- -- in the top ten and I think with the people up front they you know they certainly it's pretty impressive group when you watch UT gaze into the rotation of people they have coming through there. I think linebackers are. Not an issue but it's up that even -- and depth at linebacker in particular. You know Kelvin -- there's a lot on his shoulders now to walk in. As is the second year guy in and be the quarterback that defense but. While they can be in the top ten I think they have the talent and depth up front and talent and depth in the back -- and that should be enough to get into the top then I would know. I wanna say put that number on Mario Williams sacks but just in terms of how good they should be should be. I hope that it's hard for teams are. In the pass happy NFL number one you have to stop the run and and a lot of the issues we talked about falling behind early last year and overall defense of play I think was because teams could run it will on the bills and -- yardage and control the clock I hope that. First and foremost they're tough to run against and you'd like to have that that pressure off the -- that from Mario Williams provides. Anything that Shawne Merriman could provide -- if he's on the roster would be a bonus I think but. That's what Mary away and provides -- pressure up the edge and a guy that has to be counted for. It seems like there's got it's been diminishing and being outlook quite another thing to -- anyway -- -- got going in the future. That's a question for me at present yes. Look -- local TV is kind of it's -- mimicking if you will copying what's been the trend across the country -- comes how much time TV sportscasters have been getting in -- -- it is it's an -- -- wide trend it's not just to buffalo thing. You know it all over there are so many more choices on television now that. People are under pressure to you know find their niche I think. TV it's local TV sports has not been well served by consultants. Who and tell others that are clients nobody cares about sports because of ESPN. Fact is people care about local sports and and we haven't been here with the Buffalo Bills tremendous interest I mean probably. You know first or second in the NFL in terms of the interest in it in -- in a football printers and the sabres and the other local franchises I think that. The consultants are off base when they tell their clients nobody cares about local TV sports it is an industrywide trend. You know it's it's kind of a media wide trend you know newspapers I think there's suffering that -- -- -- that to sports departments but in general that you know and it's mostly because of the choices because of the you know the digital age there's. You don't really need appointment television -- 5610 and eleven anymore you know people want news when they want -- they -- information. When they want it right away and at their fingertips is supposed to. Sitting down -- -- and local TV news it. I'm an old fashioned guy I like Saturday and Sunday morning grab my newspaper out mailbox and sitting down and opening it up and grant and I'm I'm a dinosaur. But America I still you know to see the day come when a daily in Detroit doesn't print the newspaper every day and now the New Orleans times Picayune to scale back like three or four days a week. I know the newspaper industry has been struggling that I still never thought I'd see the day. No and I don't know if that ever come back either newspapers you know I don't know if it'll ever come back because there are generations now younger generations not dinosaurs like you and I who just are out of evident -- Picking up a paper on the other hand I mean I have twenty year old son's. Who are in the habit of checking the Buffalo News everyday online yet and the New York Times every -- answer homepage you know they they wanna be informed but they. They want their way they want it in the way they're accustomed to not necessarily. You know holding in their -- newspaper sitting down from the TV at 6 o'clock to get. Essentially -- -- -- in New York Times -- watch his family I'll be -- -- -- -- -- do apparently doing a much of a job at 8030550. You know after Ralph Wilson and keep the team in buffalo and they may not be people who live in town there you know there have been a couple of people who. Emerged who live -- don't live here who still know I wanna keep the team in buffalo so I feel pretty good about that I think there's a very sympathetic. Commissioner in place who understands the place of the franchise in the league and understands how bad it would be to move a franchise. And I think there's political pressure to particularly from senator Schumer who would. I think go to war if anybody tried to move the Buffalo Bills so I feel pretty confident about the long term future different. I feel better than we're used to -- -- filed I will never be completely comfortable because it is NFL like some people call up and say. You know well -- I would never allow -- in many works for the uninsured and and there are a lot of I'm sure owners in the National Football League. Would rather see. What's the bottom line if we move that team elsewhere as opposed to -- -- so nice buffalo they deserve to keep your team I think green -- can rule out but having said that. Police is gonna get done they re up Toronto they're renovating the stadium. You know that the fan support is obviously very strong. And it's -- Toobin and if I can just erupt the fan support is keep him if we allow more difficult for those other owners to. Do rancher franchise to vote to bring you lose a printer or take -- as a buffalo in a lot more difficult if they're continual sellouts and strong at ten. Or are like they may be close off -- -- of seats yet. Like they do in Jacksonville yes I I I was really worried and until I actually if I had someone come out and -- feel free to tell me that you have the story. Some of the announcing guess there's a succession plan in place and somebody's gonna by the team and not go anywhere I'll never be a 100%. At -- until I hear that but I think as time has gone on and certain things have fallen into place. I feel better -- and options. You know whether it's. Draper -- is not wanna own a team but if it comes to keeping the team here count me and I just I think they're more options available I don't feel as worried about as I was.
