And Matt Barkley. Why didn't we all forget about Matt Barkley had a bad senior -- -- -- you mean thirty plus touchdowns right now with that bright but the team. But the injury through the author of why they happened Matt Barkley ended up getting crushed. A lot of time there and play the go -- eight solid he'd been there have been delivered some. Pretty great throws in my opinion what I like Aqua it's -- you know he didn't live up to the expectations. Of this school. And because the interception wrote a little bit I think people are are you know kind of vote. You know getting off the Barkley bandwagon so to speak. Do you wanna get it anyway. I don't like Matt Barkley I I've added that might top quarterback. -- to go to the quarterback few months ago so. I I won't get off that opinion I think he's a solid player in in -- -- backed group and I you know I I think. He can bring a lot to the table in terms. I'm not sure skill on the field but you're talking intangibles. That move in you know being able to be a leader of men I think Matt Barkley had a -- that. And he won at or gain. Like there's going to be questions about whether or not he can play in the cold but not it's it's it's kind of -- he played organ played organ state like those aren't. Beautiful necessarily. Democratic and that I mean you know the whole the coldest it's piped up every person that's playing in the cold in the NFL. And you know for the most part every person has played in the -- A game in college football but. But when you talk about these. You know you have to be able to -- -- through the wind you have to be able to throw -- the arraignment in the no. Company tiger that really happening it -- He doesn't it doesn't happen all that much so I -- I I try to buy that are that short. And let's worry about that once we actually getting out of control and it's nice out let's file I don't care about the whether -- is his -- strong enough period I don't have a whatever about the conditions. Well maybe the most West Coast ready quarterback in this year's draft class Matt Barkley so. So no real willing. You know rule him out of any equation with the bill just because -- played in southern at Southern California. Which advocates and others stupid argument. You know I think he is that as. Legitimate. Of a prospects for this year's draft as you know I'd bet that origin out -- -- these guys. While some of the losses against Arizona they've put up 36 against Oregon they put up 51. UCLA they've put up to 48 they lost their bowl game without him a loss to Notre Dame is in play against somebody in the UCLA yeah so. I ordered right so they had six losses as a team and and -- I just Joseph I remember two years ago on Barkley when he was thinking about coming out you and I talked about it a lot. In comparison Andrew Marcus looks like this lock solid guy and Barkley and -- -- the same way and and I I found the game that I remember they became that I just decided I -- park is a fantasy game. And a -- lights it up you think I like him it was the win against Oregon at -- he threw four touchdowns. And beat Oregon was ranked number four at the time. And the the play that really said something to me was. USC's going -- that game and trying to clinch the win like they're really just trying to sit on the ball protect the lead against Oregon. The ducks scored fifteen points in the fourth quarter in part of the reason they were of the come back. Is because. They handed the Barkley him the ball off to. Mark Tyler who fumbled the ball basically at the organ goal line. And organs are right right back in the game and Barkley you know I I realize this is all the narrative but I don't care I loved it. He got right in that running backs year right away on the road at Oregon like come on man we need better from you. And organs back in the game and he goes back on the field and they effectively kill it and win. And I just thought it was a great moment like four touchdowns and not afraid to get in that -- because he made a crucial mistake that could cost the team the game like debts to me that was leadership right there. Exactly and immediate talk about. A lot of these guys like. You know people when when people look at Barkley ago. -- obviously bring up Mark Sanchez just because of the school he went to put their situations are entirely different Sanchez. Well he went into a situation where it was Al -- He started a one year we at US street where Barkley had but as a true freshman in Los Angeles. -- that is portable pro team that essentially use USC at the approaching. So. -- going into that situation of having all of the mean from from fans of that area. You know having two or take over -- program that is used to winning. And it now hole falls all the angles or let other -- because of the NCAA sanctions. You know he had to -- you'll bring them through the fire any progress that the quarterback -- -- that the leader and the ability of the types have been terrible -- talking about. I -- I don't think that can be overlooked. I mean I I personally think that would be as broad -- happen he's going to be right back in the consideration for the top 20 am and you know I think. If if you throw that well I think he's going to throw. Now that he is injury is likely you know it is it's you know with the rear view mirror. I think there's potential that that he could be right there that makes forty overall. Are -- guy Willis will be we got John tie up many loss which would do in a moment. But I wonder gel like I wanted to -- on that last point I remember seeing an interview with Barkley. Maybe it was around the com Bynum I didn't somebody or run done a feature on -- -- was he had these show for the combined. Matt Barkley was there. I took he had an injury so he -- just ordinary. Might have been like NFL never did like one of those pre recorded features on these guys and are arrogant during comment anyway. And he felt like he -- done more to handle -- I thought I'm I'm with you I would lean more towards with what happened how Carroll left the program the state he left the program men. Kiffin coming in a lot of crap that was going -- one Lane -- was there. And the fact that Barclays in the big media market at a high profile program. USC football and what he followed up with in terms of what Carolyn Dunn I thought that should be that should be something the bill should look at as a strength that the guy. He was in the baseball right immediately if he can handle -- of USC. You know would that help you handle the pressure of the NFL man united and officially be in buffalo. -- the type of media scrutiny alone. In Los Angeles that he probably got the air through that door and I mean as you know as an eighteen to 22 year old guy. Everywhere has signaled some guys that they get the F themselves from the age reported to the thirty some guy can't handle. You know bet that type -- -- for him to do it forward. I mean that that speaks volumes and indeed he does have his weaknesses there and in you know he will. He will throw it we would interception from from time to time and you know that he -- -- that's something he's gonna have to work on you know technique and and -- but. You talk about leadership to eight in the -- or are the people get credit for I like that part clear card I. Orchestra or I think huge. I think he's the best quarterback that distract -- offer in terms of a prospect right now. And you know you know I would I would be shocked if -- been built or are considering the sky of space stomped. Everything he broke the table and its potential fit in with an electric offer.
